Designed By Charles And Ray Eames in1969. The Vitra Eames model EA 219 is the High back office swivel chair in the soft pad group by Charles and Ray Eames. Its dignified aura makes it especially suited for management areas. The extraordinary comfort of the chair results from the combined effect of its tilt mechanism, which can be adjusted to the user’s weight, and the soft upholstery. The higher backrest of EA 219 Not Scandinavian but a beautiful design icon nevertheless. We have two Vitra Eames model EA 219 office chairs in chrome available in very nice vintage condition with only minimal traces of use. Although designed in 1969 the chairs are still in production the ones we have on sale have been produced just some years ago.
