Vintage side table by Wim Rietveld for Auping, Netherlands 1950s

A modern side coffee table designed by Wim Rietveld, manufactured by Auping in the Netherlands around 1950. This lovely table has a minimalist design, made of high quality black lacquered metal with a laminated wooden top. The second top is also made of black metal and can function for storage for example coasters, magazines or other small items It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, the top has some user marks, though adding nicely to it’s patina.
