About this vintage design furniture
This sumptuous oak baluster leg table was hand-carved in Flanders, circa 1680. Long tables such as these were known as table de communauté. Religious institutions such as convents and monasteries often had elaborately carved tables spread throughout their dining hall. The table has an exceptionally rich patina give added character. Today, a table of this length, style, age and beauty will certainly be a focal point in any interior. all our items are removed from woodworm.
