Pair of vintage Aladdin model 11 table lamps in satin brass, UK 1922

Rare pair of kerosene oil lamps, produced in the UK from September 1922 to May 1928. The body of the lamps is made of satin brass, and the lampshades are made of glass with a white satin finish (painted), one of the lamps has the original chimney, inscribed Aladdin. In order to be used even today, the lamps have been adapted to electricity, keeping their original charm. Condition: - the body of the lamps is in excellent vintage condition, the brass presenting a lovely patina that marks the honorable age of a century for these wonderful pieces; - the glass lampshades have the following shards: in one lampshade a small chip at the base (which may be invisible if the lampshade is rotated), and in the other lampshade a larger chip, visible at the top; obviously the lampshades can be replaced, these being available from various online suppliers; - one of the lamps has the original Aladdin chimney, marked, in perfect condition, without any defects; it is possible to purchase another chimney for the other lamp or, of course, the lamps can be used without the chimney, according to the user's wish.
