About this vintage design furniture
A lovely pair of dining / side chairs, model CT2, designed by Willy van de Meeren and manufactured by Tubax in Belgium around 1950 The base of the chairs is made of tubular, white lacquered metal with rubber leg ends. It holds the seats and backs that are upholstered in the original Expo ’58 fabric, meaning they hold a piece of design history! A lovely combination that gives the chairs a nice, modern style. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
