About this vintage design furniture

This armchair model Contour was designed in the 1960s by the Swedish designer Alf Svensson for Dux. The frame of the armchair is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The backrest and seat have been upholstered in a new blue upholstery. The upholstery sponge was also replaced. The chair has a characteristic seat position adjustment. Reference : 246777

Alf Svensson is a Swedish designer born in 1937. He studied at the Gothenburg School of Art and Design and began his career working for furniture manufacturer DUX.
