About this vintage design furniture

This set of 6 dining chairs is designed by Alfred Christensen and manufactured by Slagelse in Denmark in the 1960s. This model is known as the Boomerang chair due to the shape of the frame. The chairs are labelled by the manufacturer. This is a very beautiful design. The chairs are in solid teak. We have reupholstered them in new black skai (fake leather). New seating comfort in an original frame. The chairs are in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments. dimensions: height: 81 cm (seat: 45 cm) width: 48 cm depth: 54 cm Reference : 247660

About the designer

Alfred CHRISTENSEN

Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
