Vintage wooden secretary by Egon Ostengaard for Svensk Mobelindustri, Sweden 1960s

This unique piece can be used as a secretary cabinet or desk, designed by Egon Ostengaard fo Svensk Mobelindustri in Sweden around 1960. The piece is made of high quality wood in a nice, warm brown colour which adds really nicely to it’s luxurious yet modern style. It has three drawers with beautifully finished handles and a “roll top” that smoothly slides open to reveal more smaller storage units as well a desk platform that pulls out. This makes the piece versatile for different decors, situations and uses! The different patterns in the wood give it a wonderful additional luxurious appeal. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 248174
