About this vintage design furniture
A special edition variant of the Strässle King Chair in an attractive grey-brown leather with matching ottoman. The thick leather is in very good condition. There are only minimal signs of wear on the armchair and ottoman. The armchair has a 5 star metal base and rotates easily. Compared to the original King Chair, this special variant has clearly generous dimensions and offers excellent seating comfort.
The Strässle King Chair is one of the most famous designs by Belgian designer Andre Vandenbeuck of the Midcentury Modern period. Designed in the 1960s for the renowned Swiss manufacturer Strässle.
