About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful set of 5 "Fuga" sconces, the largest size, designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen for Raak, Netherlands in 1964.The tubes are made of brushed aluminum and/or copper colored anodized aluminum.The lamps can be hung vertically or horizontally and each have two light sources. You can hang them in groups, as I did, or one by one. The tubes are 60 cm long. The wooden board at the back that holds the separate tubes together is not original.Condition of item, comments - discoloration visible in photos.Light use depending on age and usage (see photos).More photos and information available upon request. Maija Liisa KOMULAINEN

Maija Liisa Komulainen was a Finnish designer who was born in 1932 and died in 2019. She studied at the Helsinki School of Art and Design before starting her career as a textile designer for the Finnish company Tampella.
