Mid century folding sofabed, Czechoslovakia 1950s

Fully upholstered modernist sofa with pull-out tables, 1950´s This sofa was made in the 1950s in the former Czechoslovakia, it bears the hallmarks of Jindřich Halabala’s work, but it could also be by another author. On the sides, it has retractable wooden boards serving as side tables. The sofa is in original preserved condition, the fabric shows signs of age and wear in some places. The sofa is structurally ok and comfortable. Length: 187 cm, height 78 cm, width 84 cm, seat height: 45 cm. Sleeping area: 167 cm x 186 cm Reference : 257872
