Vintage walnut veneer chest of 3 drawers by Morris of Glasgow, 1950s

MORRIS OF GLASGOW CUMBRAE RANGE, MID CENTURY ZEBRA CHEST OF 3 DRAWERS Morris of Glasgow Chest of Three Drawers These wonderful drawers are made from a vintage walnut veneer It has sycamore edging and blade-shaped sleek legs. This dressing table is a stunning piece of design and craftsmanship from the 1950s. It has three drawers which have the gold stamp for the ‘Cumbrae’ range of antique furniture by Morris of Glasgow. This is a very striking designed item and although designed in the 50s would look right at home in a ultra modern home or retro themed home. The drawers are generally in lovely condition, however, there is 1 small chips to the top corner drawer (pictured) as well as some minor marks to the top surface (pictured). In addition to what is mentioned, there is an ever so slightly stiff bottom drawer. Reference : 260244
