About this vintage design furniture
Here is a very nice pair of vintage wrought iron dachshund andirons made by Edouard Schenck in the early 1950s. Edouard Schenck was a French craftsman who specialized in the creation of zoomorphic andirons. This example is a very nice pair of iron andirons, with a very nice patina. They have been entirely cleaned, and are in a superb vintage condition. The dimensions are those of an andiron.
