About this vintage design furniture
A 1960s desk in teak by Danish designer Svend Aage Madsen for Sigurd Hansen.
This finely crafted desk has a subtly curved writing surface with sculpted rear lip. It sits on tapering legs, with a bank of four smooth drawers on each side of the seat recess.
Svend Aage Madsen's maker mark is is stamped to the underside.
To the rear there are two long shelves and a small storage cupboard, with beautifully refined proportions.
This desk has been fully reconditioned throughout, retaining only minor signs of vintage. There are a few faint marks to the surface but presents as close to immaculate.
