About this vintage design furniture
Vintage Danish Modern Brutalist Oak Sideboard, 1960s.
Long and low Scandinavian modern sideboard in solid oak. Brutalist design attributed to Henning Kjærnulf for EG Møbler, Denmark.
Very sculptural design with bevelled square door panels on the four hinged doors. Loads of storage space in the cabinets behind the doors. Height adjustable shelves and two drawers with dovetail joints. Brass fittings with two original keys. Six square legs with carved motifs.
High quality craftsmanship, very well built in solid European white oak.
Very good vintage condition. Light patina consistent with age and use. No defects. Read

About the designer
Henning KJAERNULF
Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
