About this vintage design furniture

Fireworks is a Murano blown glass chandelier by Barovier e Toso. Armrests adjustable in all positions up or down, Italy, 1990s. The Barovier artistic glassworks has existed since the mid-13th century and is therefore the sixth oldest family business in the world still in business. In 1926 Ercole Barovier, son of Benvenuto, took over the artistic direction of the company, which in 1936 merged with the F.lli Toso glassworks, assuming the current name of Barovier and Toso. Ercole invented the new technique of hot coloring without melting the glass. Reference : 274619
