About this vintage design furniture
Alba Floor lamp model HG 4510 designed by Sergio Brazzoli and Ermanno Lampa for Harvey Guzzini in 1973. “Alba” means (translated from Italian) “sunrise”. This is an early version from 1973, the year that the lamp was designed, still with the Harvey Guzzini logo. In 1974 the name changed from Guzzini to iGuzzini. A beautiful futuristic design from the seventies. This rare sculptural floor lamp is made of white molded plastic with a heavy black cast iron base at the bottom. The lamp has a large round black dimmer switch in the middle and a foot switch in the connection cable. The wiring has been checked by an electrician and the interior (electronics) of the dimmer has been replaced (new). The condition is still very good, no cracks or breaks in the plastic. Dimensions: h x w x d = 163 x 46 x 61 cm. The lamp contains a normal fitting (E27) suitable for incandescent and halogen lamps. Marked: Harvey Guzzini, made in Italy, model 4510 and documented in a Guzzini folder (see photos). Collector’s item!
