Vintage daybed model Svane by Igmar Relling for Ekornes, Norway 1970s

A cozy and functional Svane daybed/sofa designed by Ingmar Relling and manufactured by Ekornes in the 1960/70s. This daybed is perfect for smaller rooms and living room, as it features a sleeping function while entirely unfolding. It is also suitable for a home office space. The retracting side table is functional and opens up space for a backrest cushion. It has a sleeping function while fully unfolded, additionally there is a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath. The pillows and mattress have been reupholstered in an elegant checked fabric, and the foams have been exchanged. The daybed is in excellent condition and measures a total length of 186 cm while fully opened. Wood preserved with additional layers of Danish Oil.
