Vintage coffee table by Vico Magistretti for Gavina Caori

This black Caori coffee table is in very good condition. The black lacquered wooden elements show only slight signs of wear. The table top is made of satin stainless steel and is hidden under the flap in the middle of the table, which is held in place by a damper system, two spacious compartments. There are 2 drawers on the narrow ends of the table and 2 additional storage compartments on the long sides. The centrally arranged table base is also made of black lacquered wood and shows signs of wear. At one of the narrow ends, the table has a chip under the drawer. The Italian designer Vico Magistretti designed the Caori in 1962 for Gavina, one of the highest quality Italian furniture manufacturers which was later taken over by Knoll. Reference : 277306
