About this vintage design furniture
Thin metal plated coffee table representing a small romantic wheat bale. This type of coffee table became famous because both Coco Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent used this type of table in their own private homes. It has a charming yet stylish presence.
The table is in good condition with a patina on the metal corresponding with age and use. There is a small chip on the original glass top, but if wanted the glass top can be renewed. Designed in the 1970s by German designer Hans Kögl.
H x Diameter = 43 x 100 cm / 17 x 39.4 inch.

About the designer
Hans KOGL
Hans Kogl is a German designer born in Munich in 1964. He studied industrial design at Munich's University of Applied Arts and began his career working for several renowned design agencies in Germany and the USA.
