About this vintage design furniture
Iconic BKF or M butterfly chair designed by Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, Juan Kurchan and Antonio Bonet in Argentina in 1938. The first version was manufactured by Artek-Pascoe in 1941. Knoll International took over production from 1947 to 1951. After losing the rights and after other manufacturers began to make this design classic, Knoll stopped production in 1951. This authentic Butterfly chair dates from the 1970s and has a black metal frame and a bronze green suede seat. The condition is still very good, with some signs of use and wear. The suede seat has a beautiful patina.
