About this vintage design furniture

This fine high-quality ceramic tea or juice service was designed by the Italian ceramist Andrea D'Arienzo (1911-1995) a close friend of the ceramist Guido Gambone, with whom he collaborated and founded La Faenzarella pottery. These iconic pieces were hand-crafted and hand-painted at the traditional and famous ceramic workshops of Vietri in southern Italy. The set features rural image motifs of southern Italian shepherds, their animals, simple houses and wild cacti. This set is a rare collector's item from the 1950s in the style of Italian primitivism. - Additional Dimensions: 1 Pitcher - Height: 26 cm / Diameter: 12.5 cm / Depth: 20.5 cm - 6 Mugs - Height: 11.5 cm / Diameter: 9 cm / Depth: 12.5 cm Reference : 297834
