About this vintage design furniture
Suite of 3 "grand prix" chairs in teak. Edition dated November 1972. Very fine patina.
The Gand Prix chair, or "3130", was designed by Arne Jacobsen and presented at the "Designers' Spring Exhibition" at the Danish Museum of Art and Design in Copenhagen, in 1957. The same year, it was awarded the Grand Prix du Design at the Milan Fair... hence its name.
