About this vintage design furniture

Stunning, rare Hans J. Wegner double bed in teak, manufactured in the 1960s by Getama in Denmark, still looks truly amazing today. It features floating bedside tables topped with black glass plates. Each night table has one drawer and storage space underneath. The headboard covered with black vinyl fabric adds elegance and chic to the piece. The bed frame is very sturdy – typical mid-century modern Danish quality and features metal brackets and two original spring frames, nicely finished with teak veneered footboard. Mattress is not included. The bed has been checked by our team. All drawers are clean and work smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and preserved with Danish Oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old. Clients from all around the world have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.  Overall, the bed is in fantastic vintage condition with minor signs of wear relevant to age and use.  It is a timeless design by one of the most famous designers to come out of Denmark in the Mid-century era.  Additional dimensions: Headboard: H: 51/ W: 252 cm Footboard: H: 37/ W: 171 cm  Mattress size: L 200cm, W 165cm (max mattress width 170 cm) Night tables: H: 50/ W: 40 / D:33cm; shelf and drawer height – 7 cm each Spring frame: H: 168 / W: 67 cm Reference : 298420
