Vintage rocking chair in solid teak by Hans Olsen for Juul Kristensen, Denmark 1960

The rocking chair with a solid teak frame and delicate inserts in the backrest comes in very good condition. The wooden frame shows only minimal signs of wear and has a very attractive warm wood tone. The seat cushion and neck cushion have been reupholstered and covered with a gray fabric. The suspension of the chair is perfect. The Danish designer Hans Olsen designed this chair in the 1960s for the Danish manufacturer Juul Kristensen. Juul Kristensen, who is considered one of Denmark's most influential designers and has greatly influenced the aesthetics of modern Scandinavian design, produced various classics in his factory.
