Vintage 2-seater sofa in wood and metal, 1950

This small Scandinavian sofa dates from the 1950s. Its designer is unknown. It reflects the codes of Scandinavian design, with simple, robust materials and a minimalist, functional aesthetic that can be adapted to a wide range of interior styles. Its structure consists of a set of 4 cushions mounted directly on a wooden base to form the seat, back and armrests. The base is reinforced with metal fasteners. The whole is assembled to the base, which consists of 4 varnished wooden cylinders. The whole has been reupholstered in a cream-colored vegan fabric.
