Pair of vintage Art Deco oak wood bedside tables with glass tops, Czechoslovakia 1940

Beautiful set of two bedside tables. Produced in Czechoslovakia in 1940s, the art deco period. The tables are made of strong oak wood with veneer on top. Each table has a compartment with mirror-opening doors on piano hindges. Inside there is one shelf (not pictures) in each compartment. The door handles are original resin handles. On the top of the compartment is a panel with black metallurgical glass. The glass is original and looks amazing. Above the glass is a small shelf. The tables were originally on the legs, but these were destroyed. We had them changed into a wall-mount tables. They look amazing and are ready to serve for many generations. The tables are in very good condition with some minor crackeling on the finish and some minor age wear. Reference : 301351
