About this vintage design furniture

Aluminum lamp designed by Knud Christiansen from the 1980s. The form of the lamp was designed based on the principle of a reflective system that directs the light not only downwards, but also sideways, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its structure, the lamp provides diffused and non-glare light in a warm tone. Dimensions: diameter 38cm height 25cm The lamp is in good condition. Minor scratches and natural patina. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one. The lamp comes with a new metal canopy. The lamps are shipped from Denmark. About the designer

Aage CHRISTIANSEN

Aage Christianesen was a Danish designer who was born in 1906 and died in 1990. He is best known for his work designing lamps and lighting fixtures for the Danish company Fog & Mørup in the 1950s and 1960s.
