Set of Reupholstered Vintage Warren Platner Easy Chair and Ottoman Stunning set of a Platner Easy Chair (Model 1705; aka Easy Lounge Chair) reupholstered in light beige velvety soft wide cord, also known as cable cord, with 10 ribs on 10 cm of fabric. It impresses with its unique, fluffy, soft feel and its elegant, iridescent look. This corduroy fabric is equipped with stain protection and is therefore water and dirt repellent. Bot the easy chair as well as the ottoman in original nickel finish. Both pieces feature Platner's signature of a base composed of curved steel rods meticulously welded together, forming an intricate and eye-catching lattice pattern simultaneously serving as structure and ornament. In 1966, Warren Platner designed his now iconic collection of pieces of furniture for Knoll that have become the embodiment of timeless mid-century modern design pieces. Beyond their undeniable aesthetic appeal, these Warren Platner pieces boast exceptional quality and durability.
