About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful pair of Italian planters in solid carved elm and brass, designed by Paolo Buffa in Italy in the 1940s. These two planters are highly decorative, and typical of Paolo Buffa's fine, rounded work. Elegantly sculpted and shaped, these planters feature vertical wooden slats carved from solid elm, and include a brass tray. They can be wall-mounted, or suspended using the two brass hooks inside the tub. These pieces are very modern for the Art Deco period, and delightfully vintage today. A truly fine example of Paolo Buffa's sophisticated workmanship and superb quality of finish. They have been fully restored and re-varnished, and are in superb condition. Reference : 303009
