Bert van Triet was a dutch local artist who specialised in woodcarving. He lived for his craftsmanship but nut from this work. Not much is known of this skilled artist. Only this piece has been in the possession of a family for over 20 years until we have been able to purchase it. Very rare, very unique and very beautiful. This wood carving stands on a concrete cast base that connects the warm hand-carved wood via a steel tube. From cold material to production-formed material to handmade art.
