Four Brutalist chairs in wood and rope, circa 1960 A set of four dining chairs in rope and wood. Fabulous modernist design and craftsmanship incorporating the use of organic materials, to produce these iconic French coastal and rustic style chairs. The backrests and seats are woven from rope and rest on round solid wood frames tapering to points at the top of the backrest. All in good condition, sound and solid, with a beautiful patina of age. Each chair has different proportions, proving that it is not a machined piece.
