About this vintage design furniture

GE 19 solid oak daybed, designed by Hans Wegner for GETAMA, Denmark, 1956. This very modern model, built in oak and brass, presents a beautiful contrast between materials. Solid oak is used for the legs and frame. The brass mattress support bars on both sides are undoubtedly the highlight and add a nice touch to an otherwise minimalist design. The daybed comes with a completely new mattress and an oval-shaped pillow, covered in high-quality structured natural linen with buttons. The underside reveals the original green spring cover and a solid wood frame with brass springs for support. It can be used in a variety of ways in virtually any modern environment. In excellent condition. Reference : 304311
