Vintage Plexus oak dining set by Illum Wikkelsø for Cfc Silkeborg, Denmark 1960

The living room set features three chairs from the Plexus series in original wool, designed by Illum Wikkelsø in the 1950s and produced by CFC Silkeborg. This set of Plexus chairs features an oak frame and goose-down-filled cushions covered in original wool by C.F. Christensen in Denmark. The manufacturer's sticker has been retained. The Plexus series was designed to be disassembled and combined into larger sets, e.g. two Plexus chairs to make a sofa, etc., allowing easier transport and modular use. The set we present is the most attractive, a 2-seater sofa and chaise longue. But the final configuration is up to you. The set is in very good condition, with only minor signs of use. The fabric has remained almost intact, which is a miracle for such a bright color. We do, however, leave minor and natural traces of use, which do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm the originality of the set. We're trying to bring it back to its best, given its 60 years of age. Customers all over the world have already put their trust in our work and its fruits.
