About this vintage design furniture

A hand-painted large plate on a leg designed by Hedwig Bollhagen from the 1930s for the HB-Ritz Keramik Werkstätten in Marwitz. In addition to its functional form, it will certainly also work as a beautiful detail in the interior. Signed on the bottom "HB 2" and HB 656. Hedwig Bollhagen was one of the most famous German ceramicists of the 20th century. She cooperated with, among others: with Charles Crodel. She founded HB-Werkstätten für Keramik, a ceramics company that operates to this day, and a museum dedicated to her work was established in Velten, Germany. The plate has a very nice black and green painting - typical of the designs of Hedwig Bollhagen. The item is in very good condition with minor traces of use. Minor operational scratches, ceramics without damage or chips. Dimensions: Dimensions: 13 cm (h) x 26 cm (d) / 5.1" (h) x 10.2" (d) Weight: 0.8 kg / 1.8 lb Reference : 309186
