Hedwig Bollhagen was one of the most famous German ceramicists of the 20th century. She cooperated with, among others: with Charles Crodel. She founded HB-Werkstätten für Keramik, a ceramics company that operates to this day, and a museum dedicated to her work was established in Velten, Germany. The plate has a very nice black and green painting - typical of the designs of Hedwig Bollhagen. The item is in very good condition with minor traces of use.
