Vintage glass lamp by Michael Bang for Holmegaard, Denmark 1970

Blown glass lamp from the exceptional Holmegaard glassworks; one of the great models in designer Michael Bang's Symmetrisk range, each lamp is unique. Foot diameter 24 cm, impeccable glasswork. The lampshade has been restored to its original shape and structure in dark taupe linen, with a lighter shade for the cord to match the organic motif of the base (a fine abstract pattern in varying shades of black and grey). It stands on the height-adjustable stand. Period patina on the frame and brass inserts. Push-button switch on E27 screw socket. Labels present under the base.
