About this vintage design furniture

The original VEB Feinmechanische Werkstatten Zella-Mehis/Thur. mantel clock, a solid oak veneer body, a mechanical 8-day brass mechanism and spherical glass are the hallmarks of mid-century modern style clocks. A mantel/table clock with a real wooden casing made of oak, an extremely impressive dial with Arabic numerals, a spherical glass window with an exquisite brass ring attracts attention. The original Zella-Mehis chimney clock with a mechanical FHS brass mechanism was manufactured in Germany in the mid-20th century. a beautiful form reminiscent of the art deco style has been modernized in a modernist fashion. The item is in very good condition, fully functional, with the original winding key included. We sign the clock. The defect is a slight discoloration at the bottom of the body. Dimensions: height 18 cm | width 42 cm | depth 10 cm Color: brown, gold, transparent, silver, black Style: mid-century modern, modernism, retro Material: wood, glass, metal, brass, veneer Reference : 310893
