About this vintage design furniture
Magnificent bar furniture designed by Louis Paolozzi for René Godfrid (French manufacturer of high-end products).
With this piece, Paolozzi introduced the famous Italian design of the 1950s to the René Godfrid collection.
The cabinet features an oak veneer corpus with solid oak end strips to prevent damage.
This sideboard is made from two different types of wood:
Mahogany, present on the two end legs
Oak veneer on the structure and doors
Solid oak on all front panels
The front features three drawers on the lower section and two key-operated doors, each with two handles. The interior features shelves and a compartment for bottles. The screws are in brass.
Louis Paolozzi chose different-colored woods to create contrast between the elements.
The R-shaped base is Paolozzi's signature style.
