Vintage 3-seater sofas in chrome steel and black leather by Fritz Makiol for Girsberger, Switzerland 1960

This set of three Girsberger Eurochairs in black leather is in very good condition. The leather is soft and shows only minimal signs of wear, such as a slight abrasion mark on the back of one chair. The chrome frame has its full shine and shows no damage. The set can be used as a three-seater sofa or as a 2-seater and an armchair. The Eurochair was designed in the 1960s by Fritz Makiol and produced until the 1980s. The Swiss furniture manufacturer Girsberger was founded in 1889 as a lumber merchant and quickly made a name for itself as a manufacturer of high-quality seating furniture. It is known for its products of the highest quality and durability. The Swiss designer Fritz Makiol has created several distinctive designs for Girsberger. Reference : 313819
