Vintage brown parchment and brass desk by Aldo Tura, Italy 1970

Superb brown parchment and brass desk designed by Aldo Tura in Milan, Italy, in the late 1960s. Characteristic of Aldo Tura's work, parchment is a dyed and lacquered goatskin that gives its nuances of color, here from brown to dark brown, and this absolutely superb piqué. It has a large top with four belted drawers with brass locks and keys, resting on two feet also in parchment finished with brass bands. This desk has been entirely restored, relacquered and polished, and is in superb condition. A truly beautiful and timeless decorative piece, in the pure Mid-Century Italian glamour style of the 60's and 70's. Reference : 313845
