Set of 4 vintage Bauhaus dining chairs in plywood and chrome steel by Marcel Breuer and Mart Stam, 1980

An extraordinary set of 4 cantilever chairs based on the Bauhaus icons by Marcel Breuer and Mart Stam. The chairs look very high-quality with their solid chrome tubes and have very generous dimensions for dining room chairs. The seats and backrests are made of black lacquered plywood and show some signs of wear. The chrome frames are in first-class condition. The chairs look very dynamic due to the very slanted front chrome tubes and give them an absolutely timeless appearance. They were probably made in Germany in the 70s/80s. Reference : 313929
