About this vintage design furniture
Pair of Scandinavian cabinets in exotic wood by Christian Hvidt for Soborg Mobelfabrik. The doors, fitted with brass handles, reveal two compartments with three shelves each. High-quality finish and visible mitering. Very good condition, with two small dents on the top of one of the two cabinets.

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
