About this vintage design furniture
Maletak lounge chair designed by prominent Czech architect and designer Bořek Šípek (1949-2016). Known as the father of ‘neo-Baroque’ it embodies the very distinctive style for which he is known so well. Upholstered in grey and black patterned fabric. Sculptural steel legs and with synthetic shell and armrests. One chair is hand signed on the back.

About the designer
Borek SIPEK
Borek Sipek (1949-2016) was an internationally renowned Czech designer, known for his furniture, glassware, lighting and decorative objects. He studied architecture in Prague before working with the famous Italian designer Ettore Sottsass in Milan in the 1980s.
