Danish vintage pendant lamp Diskos by Jo Hammerborg for Fog og Morup, 1965

Diskos aluminium lamp by Jo Hammerborg from 1965. When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downlight, making it ideal for low hanging, and the shiny surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of several themes running through Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals: copper, brass, and aluminium. Dimensions: diameter: 47cm height: 11cm The lamp is in good condition for its age. It has natural traces of use, a small dent, and scratches. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, the cable has been replaced with a new, braided cable. The light comes with a new, metal canopy. Reference : 317335
