About this vintage design furniture
This chair illustrates the use of different materials, the slightly slanted legs and beautifully designed armrests. This chair was already very special in its time. The backrest and seat are filled with a new foam and are re-upholstered; the backrest has a blue-colored fabric, the seat has a matching gray-colored fabric.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
