About this vintage design furniture
Vintage blue 3-seater sofa or daybed by Peter Hvidt produced by France and Son in the 1960s. This model is called Minerva. The Peter Hvidt daybed is made of solid teakwood. It can simply be used as a sofa, or without the back-cushion as a daybed. Has original upholstery in blue. The condition is very good, it may show slight traces of use. The upholstery is slightly lightened by the sunlight.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
