About this vintage design furniture
A coffee table designed by Gorm Christensen for Tranekaer Furniture in the ’70s. The bases and edge of the table are made of solid rosewood. The tabletop consists of hundreds of glued elements of rosewood, teak, wenge and other types of exotic wood. The table is preserved in very good condition with small scratches and delicate padding of one corner visible in the picture.

About the designer
Aage CHRISTIANSEN
Aage Christianesen was a Danish designer who was born in 1906 and died in 1990. He is best known for his work designing lamps and lighting fixtures for the Danish company Fog & Mørup in the 1950s and 1960s.
