Beige and light blue ceramic vase from the limited range ’Pikea ’by Mari Simmulson. Produced by Upsala Ekeby in the 1960s. The Pikea vase has a rough surface and a delicate shape. Good vintage condition and nice Scandinavian design. 7 cm on top opening. Weight: approx 1 kg. This vintage vase is labeled: UE Sweden, 4431, MS monogram.

About the designer
Mari SIMMULSON
Marie Simmulson was a Swedish designer born in 1911 in St Petersburg, Russia. She moved to Sweden in 1915 with her family, where she studied at the Göteborg School of Decorative Arts. She went on to study at the Konstfack School of Art in Stockholm, graduating in 1936.
