Etienne FERMIGIER

After graduating, he worked for the Airborne company, where he created polyurethane foam modular furniture. In 1967, he founded his own company, which produced metal and glass furniture, as well as lighting fixtures. His creations have been exhibited in numerous museums, including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.

Étienne Fermigier was an innovator in the field of industrial design, and was one of the first designers to use materials such as polyurethane foam and tempered glass in the production of furniture and lighting. He was also an influential teacher in the field of design, having taught at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris.
