About this vintage design furniture

This very comfortable mid century side chair, model FT30, is designed by Cees Braakman. It is manufactured during the 50’s by UMS Pastoe in the Netherlands. The legs and the armrests are made from teak. The seat is just reupholstered with new lovely Italian bouclé fabric and new foam. Cees Braakman one of the leading Dutch midcentury designers together with Friso Kramer, Wim Rietveld jr, Kho Liang Le and Martin Visser was very much inspired by the works of Charles and Ray Eames.
